Hey Lite listeners!

                           I have now been doing Crossfit since late Oct. I have missed a few  workouts due to schedules, flu and other distractions but I still feel better then I did before. Clint and I decided that my goals are less about cardio and more about strength training and building muscle so I have had many a sore day(s). Here is a sample work out from my training:

Warm up = 500 meter row, 20 push ups x 3, 20 front squats x 3 and 50 jump rope

Workout = 10 Front squats (85lbs), 10 Bench Press (85lbs), 20 sit ups, 1 minute core developing exersice (all x 4)

Progress!!!!

So I have been doing the Crossfit thing for almost 4 weeks. I just did my Baseline test for the second time. Baseline is a timed test that when done periodically can give you a good idea of how the regular workouts are affecting you. When I first walked in to Crossfit Bend Central my time for Baseline was about 7:40 my new time was 6:32. So right there is a little proof positive that Crossfit is working for me. Now Clint (Davis, trainer and CBC owner) says that because I am fairly slim we are going to focus on strength training and weights etc and not as much cardio as we don't want me losing weight, I actually need to put some on!

Next week a diet plan and new workouts!
